Alright so right now i do cals, run, swim and bike to and from my gym (about 10 miles) Monday - Saturday (i switch up between strength and endurance days). On Sunday i rest and do p90x x stretch (just to relax and rest my muscles). I was wondering am i over training? I mean usually not sore the next day but sometimes im just so tired and dont feel like working out. should i take an extra rest day or make wendsday and easy run and swim with taking cals off that day? I want to know your opinion or even what you do on a daily basis. Im already in PAST shape and just trying to get ready for the pipline. THANKS

Nbogie055,
I can't tell for sure if you are over training but most people generally benefit from one or two days off. Maybe drop the P90X on Sunday and see how that goes.

Thanks im going to start taking wednesday off so i have 2 days of rest. and the p90x on sunday is only the x stretch (which is just stretching). I think im only tired cause i do to much cals, i used to be a weight lifter so i should know giving your muscles a break is important.

I wouldn't worry about overtraining. Just listen to your body. But even at indoc you will have two rest days per week, and those days are important. During the week is very intense and if you think you are overtraining now, just wait till you get to indoc.

The key to the pipeline, assuming you are in good enough shape already, is durability. Lots of guys can't take the daily physical grind.

Good luck
