today my recruiter told me that because i wear glasses i might not be able to do cct. I wear glasses because i cant read things like street signs and chalk boards in a classroom. he did say that i can do tacp since theyre a little more flexible with their vision requirements and then i could crosstrain into cct (possibly after getting lasek done when im already signed up with Special Tactics). my question is, would i really get disqualified? because ive seen videos and pics of guys training with those coke bottle glasses going through the pipeline so why cant i? is it really necessary that i go through tacp to do this?

Read the site and do a search, go to the documents page for additional information. This has been discussed A LOT and it's obvious you did not search...so do so.
