I was talking with my dad, a Vietnam era PJ, about me going CRO (just heard today I got into Phase II), and I mentioned I'd probably be the first CRO who is the son of a PJ. He told me as far as he knew, I'd be the first son of a PJ going into anything having to do with Pararescue. I know I read a post by someone who's granddad was a PJ, but are there any PJ's who had fathers that were PJ's also? Just wondering what my chances are of securing my slot in Pararescue history by being the first son of a PJ...

You won't the first. How do I know this? There was a PJ in my OL-H class whose father was a PJ, and NO I will not reveal his name on these forums. You may be the first CRO whose father was a PJ though, as the CRO program is so new. If so, congrats on this accomplishment and thank you for your service...and your father's!
