FY 13 begins October 1, 2012. The PAST criteria has not changed:

For FY13 accessions, administer the EAD Past test no earlier that 30 calendar days and no later than 10 calendar days prior to the applicants EAD date.

For PJ/CCT/SOWT, a Special Tactics Liaison must conduct at least one PAST test prior to EAD. This test does NOT necessarily have to be the initial or EAD test.

Effective ship week 12 Jun 12 all PJ, CCT, SOWT, and SERE applicants will be administered the PAST the first week in BMT. The PAST results will be used by the PJ/CCT Indoctrination Course to evaluate the fitness level of new PJ’s and CCT’s entering the training pipeline. The results of this PAST, in the near future, may be used to determine if the trainee can continue in BMT or be sent home. Recruiters and flight chiefs must brief applicants prior to EAD.
