Hello all.

By way of introduction, I am a telecommunications executive and former Army. I have a keen interest in American military history and the special operations community in particular.

I live near Maxwell AFB and work with a couple of community organizations which liaise with Air University, its top brass and the 42d ABW. I am also close to historical Moton Field.

In my precious spare time, I make historically accurate scale model figures of military personnel (Civil War to modern day). Most recently I worked with the family and teammates of CCT Mark Forester to create a posthumous tribute figure of Mark, which was donated to the family. I am also assisting the family in making contacts as they pursue the creation of a figure of Mark for the consumer market. My involvement with the Foresters led to a request for a tribute figure of another CCT who was KIA. I am currently doing research on the new subject.

I have done other tributes including one of Major General Albert J. Bowley as a WWII B-17 pilot. It was done for his son COL John Bowley, USAF (retired) -- a former commandant of CEPME.

I will mostly lurk and do some research, but may ask questions from time to time. Thanks for having me.
