I recently took my first Past Test for TACP and my results are as follows:

1.5 mile run - 10:10
pull ups - 9(2 minutes)
sit ups - 57(2 minutes)
push ups - 44(2 minutes, and like 6 of my push ups didn't count)

My recruiter told me the standards have changed for TACP because I inquired about the crunches/sit ups and my recruiter told me because I'd be with the army the majority of the time they changed the standard from crunches to sit ups. I qualified for the job and excited to ship out but I would welcome any advice or critiques to help me get my numbers up.

The thing that helped me improve my cal numbers was just pumping them out in mass quantity. For example my weakness was my push ups, I like doing 300 push ups in 30min or less, and each time I do it I try to beat my time. You dont have to always time yourself either, some days I just set a goal of 600, 700, or when I want to get crazy 1000 push ups in a day. Just push yourself to reach that goal by the end of the day. I always try to max out once a week to see where I am at. I was in the 50's with push ups and and retook my PAST to get higher numbers and pumped out 71.

This works for sit ups as well, however I tend to increase the numbers for sit ups since it is one of my stronger areas. For Pull ups I usually just do pyramid sets. Hope all this helps and best of luck to you brotha!
