Guys I was watching this show on Amazon:

Surviving the Cut: Air Force Combat Diver
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EN33IE

and it said that the Pararescue students only receive open circuit certification and finish the Combat Diver course.
The CCT students move on to learn also closed circuit.

So is the Combat Diver Course shorter for PJ students than for CCT?

Yes. If they have an assignment to AFSOC, they get the full course either enroute (first assignment) or PCS enroute for subsequent assignments.

There is an effort to change that so all PJs get it during the pipeline.

Thanks TE. Has there been any progress in changing this?
