Paramedic Textbook During Training

Hello, I am sure it varies over the years but, does anybody know what is the most recent paramedic text book used during the EMT-P portion of the pipeline? Or can anyone recommend one that outlines the information pretty well? I am taking EMT-B class right now using the Brady book . However, it seems so repetitive and it seems the authors just wanted to make the book as big as they could just for the hell of it. Thanks,

TE, do you have (or will you have) a link for the book so you can get a cutback?

Hate to ask this again, but I was waiting to sign my contract before actually purchasing the paramedic book . But that time has finally come! Is this still the latest book used in the pipeline?

The book changed this past summer to a two vol. Mosby Jems set, Paramedic Practice Today. There were several reference books issued for different sections; I found the most helpful of those being Aelhlert's ECGs Made Easy. God Bless!

Just my .2 as a medic the last 18 years...
Just about any edition of text will work for you. While standards and protocols for treatment change often (ACLS has radically changed since 1995 for example), basic anatomy and physiology hasn't. If you really want to get ahead of the power curve, start here. It can be kind of mind numbing, but the more you grasp A&P, the better of a medic you will become. As you understand A&P, everything else will be grasped much easier. IE- pharmaceuticals and what receptors they will act upon in the body, pathophysiology, etc...
