Hello, I am an army sniper crossing over into the air force for CCT. I have been training since i got back from the stan in oct. I have done a search regarding what events will take place at CCSC, and have come up with only vague results. I have a couple questions regarding the 1500m fin swim. I've read that a snorkle is optional, is this correct?. What style of swimming will be used during the fin swim? Also what specific events are involved in the selection, is it just a smoke session for 10 days? My CCSC date is coming up, and I'm just looking for some more insight. If you can help me out, I would appreciate it. Thank you, take care.

well the element of surprise is supposed to be half the battle...however it won't be entirely a 10day smoke session but you will surely do copious amounts of PT. As for the 1500M eval fin it's leading arm trailing arm so no actual stroke just one arm out in front and your other pinned to your hip on your side and kicking away! Snorkel is not optional during the pipeline.

You'll probably find ccsc to be a nice warm-up.

No big secrets here. The description on the front page of this site is spot on.
