Hey. After watching pretty much all of the PJ INDOC media out there, I've realized a pattern and now have only one thing that I can't say I've practiced and especially that I'm comfortable with, and I'd like to change that before I go. Buddy Breathing. Seems like this is what gets everyone to wig along with UW's, but I can do those. I was thinking of just having my Dad ( 6'4, 240) pounce on me/ assault me in the water while taking breaths periodically with a snorkel. He is not a PJ instructor trained in rescue technique or CPR though. Any ideas? How are ya'll doing this if you are?

If you don't have a trained person watching you when doing any water confidence you are WRONG. Don't do it. Second, if you can do underwaters, you can do buddy breathing, it is really nothing to worry about...the same thing that gets people in other water exercises gets them in buddy breathing...panic, apprehension, and not relaxing.

I figured. like you have said before and certainly applies here, "it's a mental game more often than physical once you are at the level of fitness to start training @ Walk, crawl,Run pace. Thanks again sir.
