My recruiter told me that all USAF SpecOps is crammed full of people and that it is going to be awhile before a spot is open for me(Pararescue), I also want to try out for Navy SEAL because I heard that SEAL canidadtes are shipping out quicker (them shipping out quicker is not the only reason I want to try out), I just wanted to get clairification on this and if its really worth switching Branches in DEP. And what is the process of switching branches in DEP?

I'm just speaking guy to guy here.
I haven't even hit basic training yet but I do know this. If your trying out for SpecOps, you better want the job. SEALS and PJ's are obviously different. You're either going in to take lives or to save lives.
Decide which you really want, and go for it. If you have to wait a while, so be it. Plus waiting isn't all that bad. It's that much more time you have to train and get your mind right.
Just my .02 cents. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Decide which you really want, and go for it. In the book " None Braver" It is said well. "It's easy to take someones life by just pulling a trigger, But the real challenge is pluging up that hole and saving someone's life"
