I was there two years ago.

You get cola, then utility allowance, and OHA.

I am not sure what it is now, but at the time just being in the dorms you got $400 cola, then off base they got like 1200 pounds (at the time like 2400)

Roads are narrow and Brits are crazy, so I wouldn't bring a lifted truck or anything like that. Get a UK spec Mercedes or Audi.

It rains probably 360 days of the year, so youll love your gortex even though it doesn't work anyways. I was on the flight line though.

I am not sure about family, my family was people that liked to party from the dorms.

Utility/Recurring maintenance/miscellaneous Allowance 411.00 BRITISH POUND $ 593.84

Move-In-Housing Allowance (MIHA) 241.00 BRITISH POUND $ 348.22


and from what I hear I should get another $600(US) for COLA

We have 05 Subaru Legacy so I think we'll be ok there, I was planning on getting another car over there (>99 Subaru STi) I'm already familiar with Right hand drive, as I had a JDM 95 STi.

I snowboard so I have some water proof jackets already
