They wont be open all day till after Memorial day or some holiday. Eglin does have a pool that is open all day. There is also the ocean or a YMCA. Florida has a lot of options for swimming.

I personally think the Fort Walton YMCA has the best hours and is open every day of the week. They open at 5 AM and close at 8 PM M-F, Sat and Sun I think they are open from 1 PM to 6 PM. Only negative is the deep end is only 6 ft deep so I use the Hurlburt pool for water Con but the YMCA is good for distance finning because the pool is not packed that often. It's a 25yd indoor pool. The pool at Hurlburt isn't olympic sized either, I'm pretty sure it's 25yds too and it's outdoors. The only 50m pool is at Eglin.
