Got SOWT, how hard would it be to get into CCT after I'm in?

I qualified for PJ with my first PAST.
Got bad shin splints, quit running for a month or so, and couldn't close the gap back down for my 30 day out test. So instead of just getting a desk job I took a SOWT spot that left a little later(I can do a CCT/SOWT run currently), there weren't any CCT slots open until way later this year. I really need to leave soon for financial reasons.
I really would like to be a CCT, the more I thought about it after I picked PJ I really regretted my decision.
So I guess my answer is this, once I'm in SOWT how hard will it be to crosstrain to CCT?
I'll be 27 before I go into basic if that has any impact on it.
I've read the crosstraining information, but since I'm not in the AF yet a lot of the nomenclature didn't make any sense to me.
Thanks for any answers,
--Tim

Thanks for the info. I had kind of assumed with the training being so similar it wouldn't be difficult, but I didn't know for sure. I wasn't even sure if you could crosstrain from one AFSOC position to another.
I'm keeping an open mind about it, I just don't know a lot about it. With it being so new there isn't much info out yet. I can't even find out what the bonus is for it.
I was mainly afraid that my age would keep me from being able to crosstrain into it if I decided I still wanted too.
