I've looked around awhile and can't find answer to my questions.

Im currently active duty airforce (first term), I applied for eligibilty to crosstrain and was approved while I was putting my package together I got orders overseas extended long. My local MPF told me that my orders canceled out my crosstraining and I would have to wait to crosstrain. I am required to re enlist if i want to take the orders oversea, however it would make it so that i can not apply to crosstrain again for approx 2 more years, I am wondering if it would be better or even possible to finish this enlistment (my first enlistment) get out then try to get back in with a CCT contract, or if its better to just grit my teeth and re enlist and wait to crosstrain.

I have talked to my retraining advisor on base and talked to AFPC and have been told that if i turn down the orders i can not crosstrain. regardless of my first term airmen status.

thanks for any help or advice in advance
