Greetings from Kansas City. I am 26 years old. I was born and raised in Missouri. I am a graduate of Jefferson City High School and Southwest Missouri State University. I have been married to my amazingly supportive wife for nearly 5 years. For the last 4 years I have ran my own floor contracting business in the Kansas City Metro area. I am leaving the civilian life behind in order to fulfill my desire to serve this great nation. After careful consideration I chose to attempt my fate with a career as a Combat Controller in the greatest Air Force in the world. I entered the Delayed Entry Program approximately 2 months ago. I have taken my initial PAST test and have been given a ship date of 2010-01-12 for BMT. I have been and will continue to use my time leading up to my ship date to prepare myself mentally and physically. My wife and I have used this website and forum for the past month as a resource. This has proven to be very beneficial. I would like to extend my thanks to those of you who control, moderate, and contribute to this site and forum. It is evident that you men have committed a great deal of time and effort into helping out your own community and it's future members. Please note that this effort does not lack its beneficiaries. I look forward to this process and I look forward to getting to know all of you better.
