I got the formal invite yesterday in my Email to attend. I'm pushing to get my commander to approve so i can attend.

I basically wanted to ask if anyone else has attended and what they thought about it? I certainly want to go just for the fact that i will take any extra help for the pipeline.

And finally to ask if anyone else from this forum will be attending?

This is of course is in reference to the seminar on sept. 15-18

Any POCs on the e-mail? Just wondering if it's an invite only type of thing.

3 days of tough training, it's kinda like a heads up so you can see(and the cadre) where you need to improve.

There are changes coming. The careerfields are initiating a phase 1 and phase 2 selection process similar to CRO/STO for crosstrainees. This will be implemented soon and coordinated with AETC to get it on the vMPF crosstraining application. I'm getting details and will post them soon. Phase 1 applications will be due 1 October, selection board in November, Phase 2 in December...more details to follow so do not ask a bunch of questions...yet.

Just curious as to whether any further info was found out about all this. I'm looking at putting in my packet to retrain in a few months, and would love the opportunity to go to Lackland for a seminar. Wasn't sure if this was a one-time thing, or if any info had yet been released on the introduction of phases to the crosstraining process. If no new info, I apologize.

They do it a few times a year. But you have to already have a packet in...all i can say is try calling the schoolhouse and talking to cadre about when they plan on having the next one.

I dont know if they have held another one since the change of head Cadre.

good luck and make sure you show up prepared down there! It's great to see the area's where you need to improve. However it's also for them to see you as a Cross-trainee and how you are going to preform in and if your going to be able to lead from the front or drag your team down! So just be ready to treat it like CCSC for real and not a 3-day intro!!!
