rucking?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if while training for pj INDOC would it be helpful to train rucking? i know they ruck during indoc but how much of it do they do? If so where can i purchase a ruck and what should i put in it for the weight setup? Sorry for the stupid questions but im new to rucking..Thank you
