My son's birthday is this Sunday and he asked for power bars. He was not specific at all (just "bars or gels") and there are so many! Before indoc he used to visit this site a lot, so I thought he would enjoy knowing the choice came from a suggestion here. I will need to Fed Ex by Friday for Saturday delivery, so hopefully this request is not too late. Anyone have a favorite kind or flavor? I'll send as much as I can.

He's in 005 right now which is half way through week 3. He's turning 22 and cross-trained, doing great. What I hear about the team is stunning. You all are amazing.

With deepest admiration and appreciation for everyone in this career and everyone who attempts it,

~ a Mom

I always ate CLIF bars at indoc, they are easy to digest and all natural. Keeps the stomach happy. Grocery stores usually have them on sale for .99 or so. Crunchy peanut butter, Choc Chip Peanut somethin... Black cherry almond-All good flavors.

Endurox could probably do him some good as well if he doesn't have any already. Its a decent recovery drink authorized at Indoc. Be careful to grab the right one, only certain ones are allowed. I didn't use it so not sure about flavors, but alot of the guys used Fruit punch or orange. Available at any vitamin/nutrition store.

Thanks! Instead of mailing I drove down this weekend and bought a dozen CLIF bars and some shots but couldn't find any Endurox at Whole Earth. They are much appreciated!!
