I have yet to take the PAST, I haven't decided on TACP or CCT.

I posted a topic asking for assistance, but it was deleted for some reason.

What I'd like to know is how long is the indocerination course, is it as difficult as para?

And who here likes there job as a CCT?

Thanks.

Daniel,
You should seriously do research on specialtactics.com, its give the full pipeline for CCT. There isnt an indoc course for CCT, its called an orientation, its 2wks long, and from what I have heard, its a ball buster. So you better be ready, heard that the instructors were running the cones 5mile at 5min miles. Tacp on the other hand, dont mess in water, u will be lucky to get airborne. If you want the glory and think you can handle it, go CCT. Tacp is still a great job, but u wont be doing the cool sh!t CCT does. Heres some info, now do some research on the topic, if u dont ur posts will get deleted everytime, TE the board moderator doesn't have time to answer the same questions.
peace and goodluck

Well I did some pretty extensive research, and found nothing on the indocternation course my RECRUITER talked about. Obvious misinformation, but I decided to go to the forums to ask this quesion, assuming that the forum was for that. I'll know better in the future, my apologies. And thank you.

Mike,

Chill man. Recruiters are usually behind the info when it comes to Special Tactics (ST) careers. If you read the board for a while, you will see that the webmaster (TE) is a PJ and keeps this board very up-to-date on the latest information. If you are still unsure then look for TSgt Hick's (ST recruiter) contact info here and ask him for the straight word.

Flame is correct Mike...I deleted your post because the info is here, and it is up to date. There is always a problem with recruiters because there are so many of them, the word just doesn't seem to get out...many don't know that both the CCT and PJ PASTs have changed, the CCT pipeline has changed, etc...refer them to this site and/or TSgt Hicks and he'll set them straight and rest assured that the info here is up to date. Good luck.
