Is it possible, if you are going into the guard as a STO, to finish the pipeline and instead of hanging out at Lackland while you pick up the other courses, pursue a graduate degree and pick up scuba, etc., during the breaks?

During breaks, gaurd go back to their units. Usually there isn't that big of a lapse between schools. The schools are setup for you to go through with the least amount of time possible. Most of the time []images/icons/wink.gif" border="0[/]

I meant breaks in college, instead of doing the post-pipeline stuf at Lackland.

You will either concentrate on becoming an STO or you won't make it. It takes a while and however the pipeline and AST work out is what you will do...if you're thinking about anything else, you will fail. <p>As far as your question, I don't think its possible and I wouldn't do it even if it were...KG can give a definitive answer if he's around.
