G'day to all. I've been interested in CCT for several years now, but high school and other things were in the way for the longest time. Now I work 40 hours a week, and I really want to hit this training hard and do what I need to do to be ready for CCT training. I've already pushed back my enlistment over a year because I know I'm not physically ready.
I graduated PJOC this summer, with Sgt. Pope as the chief instructor. Greatest 7 days of my life. Since I got back, I was spending usually at least 60 hours per week at work, and my physical standards have slipped.
On to running. I was a sprinter in high school, so endurance can sometimes be a bi*ch for me. But I am able to rock an 8:00 mile pace for however long, and to date the furthest run I've done was 4.6 miles in 37:35.
I'm looking for a start-up program to increase my endurance and decrease my times. If you guys could help me out or direct me in the right direction I would much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your time and advice.
Sahl

There are many Workouts already on the site that meet your needs. Look through there.

Check out www.crossfitkc.com. If you have any questions you can check out the main site at www.crossfit.com or ask harley on the forum. Look under classtimes for the KC Crossfit site...looks like there's a variety of classes slated to accomodate your business schedule, check out crossfit.com for the WOD ( workout of the Day), or look at the SOPWOD's harley posts. Just a thought; hope it helps. -regis
