Hello,
My DH is currently in the JR. PJU Class graduation date Dec 06.
I would like to have a contact at the AFB prior to PCSing.
If you'd like to give your 2 cents on the area that would be great too.
Thank you~ Denise <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

He should be assigned a Sponsor from the unit as he gets closer to graduation. When he gets a Sponsor, contact them and get all the low down. In the meantime, you could get on the internet and check out Valdosta and see if that gives you any useful info about schools, taxes, history, etc. You can also check out realty sites to get an idea of local housing, schools, etc. The base should have its own website as well. That should give you some useful info to start with and your Sponsor should be able to help you with more details.

Guard MC,
Thank you for the advice. I've been researching the area now for approx 6 months but it's not the same as getting information from someone who has been stationed there. I'm aware that we will be assigned a sponsor but I was looking more along the lines of makeing a friend via email prior to arriving. Unfortunately, I don't have any friends currently station there compared to the other assignments. Thank you again~ Denise
