Hi, my name is Steve, my family has a rich hystory in the Army both Grandfathers and 2 great uncles served in WWII. I would like to carry on the family tradition. I am entering under the 18X contract, not because I think im a badass or want bragging rights, I dont belive in bragging, I wish to get the best training and believe I can serve best in special forces. Pretty out of shape right now im 24 210 LBS lost 30 LBS so far. I will never quit the only thing that could prevent me from reaching my goal is death or injury.

Thank you for all the great information on the site and hope to contribute were I can. Will keep in touch.

~Steve

18X is Army Special Forces...the X representing the fact that he doesn't know (or hasen't picked) his specialty yet (i.e. 18B is SF Weapons, 18C SF engineer, 18D is SF Medic, 18E SF communications, , etc.).
