Just saw it. Have to say that I was a bit disappointed. The aerial photography was outstanding as well as the CG AWACS battlefield images. The rest of the movie was too "Mickey Mouse" IMO, with the touchy, feely music and what not. The rescue scene left much to be desired. It almost seemed like a trailer for the actual movie. There could have been some much more about everyone involved in the exercise from the mechanics to the ATCs to the battlefield airmen. I was let down. There was so much potential. If you want to see some awesome aerial photography, then by all means go watch this film. Some of the shots had me moving in my seat. Just don't have the high expectations that I had.

I just saw it and I thought it was pretty sweet. I wish they went more in depth about the PJs. All what you saw of the PJs was jumping out of the chopper, dragging the pilot in, and flying away. It made their job look too easy.

cool movie, i work at a museum in ny that has an imax, so i've seen it several times, def. needed more PJ scenes though. it is one of the better IMAX's i have seen. someone should do an IMAX all on USAF CSAR that would be sweet.
