Let me first start off by thanking all veterans of the armed service, young and old. And to the future recruits, jump in, the water is fine. My name is Joel and I am AD out of Cannon AFB, NM. I have served for three years. I am pinned down in a horrible maintenance group, longing to serve in a different way. Becoming a controller is the next step in my evolution. I will be a controller no later than 2009. In the meantime I train, go to school, serve as a deputy sheriff, and work my AF 9-5.
