Effective immediately, DO NOT tell any applicants that they will be able to take the PAST Test in BMT. As of now, this is strictly based on the needs of the PJ/CCT indoctrination course at Lackland AFB. The possibility of taking the PAST during BMT to qualify for PJ, CCT, or SERE is virtually non-existent at this time.

Administer the respective PAST to any applicant interested in special operations AFSCs at your location. PAST qualified applicants can reserve PJ, CCT, or SERE jobs prior to EAD (Enter Active Duty) provided they are otherwise qualified and the job is available.

All applicants who reserve special ops AFSCs are again required to PAST qualify at the indoc course.
