Leaving for basic on August 3rd and have a few questions.
-My current reserved job through the DEP is an Air Traffic Controller. I plan on taking the PAST at basic and almost positive I will pass it. Been looking into CCT for over a year now and I know for sure that it is my goal. If for some reason at basic I fail the PAST or am not able to take it for some reason, would they let me retake after I finish ATC school?
-I have had problems with shin splints the last year or so. Right now they are healed, and am running/swimming fine. Im afraid they might show up though around basic or maybe during the pipeline. When I had shin splints I always just taped them up and I could run fine, im just curious if they allow taping up your legs at basic/pipeline?
--I just want to be sure that ill be ready once im in. Any other tips/info I would appreciate a lot! Thanks in advance <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Go to basic with a GTEP CCT.. That is the only way to go. If you know you'll pass it, then take it now with your recruiter, and get your contract changed to a GTEP CCT.
