Do many people enlist with a degree to go cct? I am hoping to go to OTS and the cross over to STO but I was just wondering how likely it is and if enlisting is the better route.

It's very competitive for OTS if you don't have a Technical Degree.

This site has a lot of posts on this subject. You can't be commissioned as an STO through OTS unless you are in a service already. The STO selection packet discusses why. So, do you want to be a STO, a officer or CCT?

I want to be an STO. I am going to apply to OTS for ATC like this site recommends. I think I will have a decent shot at the next non tech board. I have a 3.4 GPA and I will study hard for the AFQT. Then I will go from there. I am also looking into AFROTC for graduate school.
