RJuck Member Registered: Mon May 24 2004 Posts: 268 Loc: Nellis AFB	Since the PAST is going to be changing for prior/x-training service members... My question is whether or not the rules for applying to x-train while overseas will change as well. I am probably wrong but i am assuming you cant x-train from overseas do to the drop out rate...is this the reason for the new PAST? Thanks

TE PJ/Operator/Admin/RKC Registered: Thu Oct 17 2002 Posts: 3597 Loc: Nellis	One has nothing to do with the other...crosstrainees are expected to have more discipline and be able to prepare for the new requirements. Still awaiting word when new requirements will go into effect. The oversees crosstrainee restriction is more a matter of money...it costs the AF lots of money to PCS a guy overseas...if he crosstrained from there, he could end up turning right around and the AF would have to pay for his subsequest PCS back to the states...too much money. _________________________ TE Pararescueman/Webmaster/Administrator/RKC The real test comes when all strength has fled, and men must produce victory on will alone...
