This last weekend I purchased the parts for the homemade kettlebell. Putting it together was no big deal, but when I swing it the weight rotates so its always pointing down. So any input on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

duct tape, dental floss, and chewing gum should fix it right up. I'm trying to picture it (never seen a homemade kit), you might have to much space between the ball and the hand hook deal/rod er what ever its called. If you jam/wrap some tape or something in there to widen the ball it might stop the roation. I can't see it, so it's just a shot in the dark. Hope it works.

If you made it using these examples:

It is built how it should be...not sure what you mean by the weights rotating and always pointing down...

Hey, the site appears to be down... does anyone have a mirror link to how to make a kbell? I can afford to make one, but just can't afford to buy one. Thanks!
