I was just wondering if there were any regs against tattoos as a CRO (not including the green feet)? I know when I visited the CCTs, some of them had tattoos, but I heard from friends that you couldn't have any identifying marks on your body. Not really a need to know question, but would just like to know. Thanks!!

You can't have any offensive ones, like a swastika on your chest. It's also not good for officers to have them visible while in uniform. There's an AFI that talks about tattoos but I can't remember the number. But as long as you follow those first two things I mentioned you should be good. I have 8 by the way. And I'm not done. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I did a search on the site and this topic has been discussed before; however, this link will give you a good idea of what the Air Force standards are concerning tattoo's: http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/airforce/a/aftattoo.htmHope this helps. Buoy

-andrej4 [/] There used to be some things in the Army you couldn't do if you had tattoos. Not sure what the current guidance is, but since you are talking about black SOF stuff, you won't find any guidance on it.
