I love running in the rain. How much does being soaking wet and running in the pouring rain affect your times

Personally, I ran better in the rain. The rain acts like a radiator, cooling your body and allowing you to be more efficient. Some of my best times (1, 2, and 3 mile) in high school and college were accomplished in rainy conditions. I guess it depends on the individual.

I live in Washington near Seattle and personally it's like I can't run at all unless I'm in the rain or in a cool overcast day where the tempatures are in the 50s. Heh... that's why I'm going to Lackland in the winter.
