YOU CAN ALL DO ME A BIG FAVOR BY NEVER-NEVER- EVER GOING TO A MOVIE OR PURCHASE ANYTHING THIS UNGRATEFUL, SELFISH , PIECE OF DUNG IS INVOLVED IN! SHE HAS MADE MILLIONS LIVING IN THE USA , A COUNTRY THAT'S FREE BECAUSE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF WOMEN AND MEN HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES TO KEEP IT FREE. I HAVE BOYCOTTED EVERYTHING SINCE DAY ONE WHEN INFO SUCH AS THIS WAS MADE PUBLIC AND SHE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SHE WAS DOING THIS TO END A WAR THAT SHE FELT THE USA SHOULDN'T BE IN. SHE SAID THAT THE BLAME FOR AMERICAN SERVICE PEOPLE LOSING THEIR LIVES WAS THE FAULT OF THE USA AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR AIDING THE NORTH KOREANS. CALLING HER A TRAITER DOESN'T BEGAN TO SAY WHAT THIS WOMEN IS! IF ANYONE KNOWS WHO TO CONTACT REGARDING THIS VOTING FOR FAMOUS WOMEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW. MEANWHILE , I'M GOING TO TRY ANY TRACK IT DONE AND IF I CAN FIND OUT WHERE TO VOICE MY DISAPPROVAL I WILL LET YOU KNOW. IF YOU AGREE WITH THE LETTER SENT BY OFFICER SAMPSON THEN YOU CAN CALL, WRITE, E-MAIL, OR WHATEVER REGARDING THIS PROPOSED HONOR!

Subj: KEEP THIS MOVING; ACROSS AMERICA HONORING A TRAITOR
This is for all the kids born in the 70's that do not remember this, and didn't have to bear the burden, that our fathers, mothers, and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century." Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country but specific men who served and sacrificed during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison-the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and dragged away.

During the subsequent beating, he fell forward upon the camp Commandant's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In '78, the AF Col. still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying days) from the Vietnamese Col.'s frenzied application of a wooden baton. From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hilton"- the first three of which he was "missing in action". His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned, fed, clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit.

They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his SSN on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.

She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him the little pile of papers. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Col. Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know about her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held for over 5 years. I spent 27 months in solitary confinement, one year in a cage in Cambodia, and one year in a "black box" in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border.

At one time, I was weighing approximately 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.) We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with Jane Fonda. I said yes, for I would like to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received different from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by Jane Fonda, as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees with outstretched arms with a large amount of steel placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane till my arms dipped.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda for a couple of hours after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She did not answer me.

This does not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget..."100 years of great women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them.

Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

There is not much truth in the story of Jane Fonda’s actions in Southeast Asia.

I think she's an idiot, but it's never a good thing to spread bull hockey.

Col Driscoll is a good man and I had the pleasure of working for him and talking to him numerous times.

Thanks for the snopes.com link PWO. Amazing how how things change when you get "the whole story"
I particularly liked the below story supposedly written by a Marine serving in Afganistan. The detail that gave the writer away was saying he was sitting in snow in one sentence and "cold hard dirt" in another. He then says he is worried about scorpions biting him. I guess he doesnt know scorpions hibernate in winter.

Bizarre,

It's ****ing freezing here. I'm sitting on hard, cold dirt between rocks and shrubs at the base of the Hindu Kush mountains along the Dar 'yoi Pomir River watching a hole that leads to a tunnel that leads to a cave. Stake out, my friend, and no pizza delivery for thousands of miles.

I also glance at the area around my *** every ten to fifteen seconds to avoid another scorpion sting. I've actually given up battling the chiggers and sand fleas, but them goddamn scorpions give a jolt like a cattle prod. Hurts like a bastard. The antidote tastes like transmission fluid but God bless the Marine Corps for the five vials of it in my pack.

The one truth the Taliban cannot escape is that, believe it or not, they are human beings, which means they have to eat food and drink water. That requires couriers and that's where an old bounty hunter like me comes in handy. I track the couriers, locate the tunnel entrances and storage facilities, type the info into the handheld, shoot the coordinates up to the satellite link that tells the air commanders where to drop the hardware, we bash some heads for a while, then I track and record the new movement. It's all about intelligence.

We haven't even brought in the snipers yet. These scurrying rats have no idea what they're in for. We are but days away from cutting off supply lines and allowing the eradication to begin. I dream of bin Laden waking up to find me standing over him with my boot on his throat as I spit a bloody ear into his face and plunge my nickel plated Bowie knife through his frontal lobe. But you know me. I'm a romantic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: This country blows, man. It's not even a country. There are no roads, there's no infrastructure, here's no government. This is an inhospitable, rock pit ****hole ruled by eleventh century warring tribes. There are no jobs here like we know jobs.

Afghanistan offers two ways for a man to support his family: join the opium trade or join the army. That's it. Those are your options. Oh, I forgot, you can also live in a refugee camp and eat plum-sweetened, crushed beetle paste and squirt mud like a goose with stomach flu if that's your idea of a party. But the smell alone of those "tent cities of the walking dead" is enough to hurl you into the poppy fields to cheerfully scrape bulbs for eighteen hours a day.

And let me tell you something else. I've been living with these Tajiks and Uzbeks and Turkmen and even a couple of Pushtins for over a month and a half now and this much I can say for sure: These guys, all of em, are Huns. Actual, living Huns. They LIVE to fight. Its what they do. Its ALL they do. They have no respect for anything, not for their families or for each other or for themselves. They claw at one another as a way of life. They play polo with dead calves and force their five-year-old sons into human cockfights to defend the family honor. Huns, roaming packs of savage, heartless beasts who feed on each other's barbarism. Goddamn cavemen with AK 47's.

Then again, maybe I'm just cranky.

I'm freezing my cock off on this stupid ****ing hill because my lap warmer is running out of juice and I can't recharge it until the sun comes up in a few hours. Oh yeah! You like to write letters, right? Do me a favor, Bizarre. Write a letter to CNN and tell Judy and Bernie and that awful, sneering, pompous Aaron Brown to stop calling the Taliban "smart." They are not smart. I suggest CNN invest in a dictionary because the word they are looking for is "cunning." The Taliban are cunning, like jackals and hyenas and wolverines. They are sneaky and ruthless and, when confronted, cowardly. They are hateful, malevolent parasites who create nothing and destroy everything else. Smart. Pfft. Yeah, they're real smart. They've spent their entire lives reading only one book (and not a very good one, as books go) and consider hygiene and indoor plumbing to be products of the devil.

They're still figuring out how to work a Bic lighter. Talking to a Taliban warrior about improving his quality of life is like trying to teach an ape how to hold a pen; eventually he just gets frustrated and sticks you in the eye with it. OK, enough.

Snuffle will be up soon so I have to get back to my hole. Covering my Tracks in the snow takes a lot of practice but I'm getting good at it. Please tell my fellow Americans to turn off their TV sets and move on with their lives. The story line you are getting from CNN is utter bull**** and designed not to deliver truth but rather to keep you glued to the screen through the commercials. We've got this one under control.

The worst thing you guys can do right now is sit around analyzing what we're doing over here because you have no idea what we're doing and, really, you don't want to know. We are your military and we are doing what you sent us here to do.

You wanna help? Buy some ****ing stocks, America.

I was in North/Northwest afghanistan on Nov. 11 2001 and believe me, there weren't any Marines around. The first Marines were on the ground in late Nov. in Kandahar. This guys a tool.

Even if there was a covert Marine operator there then I doubt there would have been any "sand fleas and chiggers" around in November. And a Marine carrying a "Bowie"?
Not if he had any self respect.

The Marines kept their Force Recon bubbas out of USSOCOM and missed out on the first phase of the war in AFG. I was in the JSRC from before the war to 1 Dec 01 and there weren't any Marines up to that point. We had to proof all ISOPREPs and EPA's.
