I never really have liked the idea of having a training partner. Too much talking and wasting time! However, I've never done this type of training and now I feel that it might be nice to have someone there to push. I am greatly interested in becoming a Controller and if there are any other gonnabes out there, either PJ or CCT, and you want to train, get in touch. I must also say that I am 27, prior USN, and have a full-time-40-hour-per-week job AND am extrememly injury conscious (Train Hard AND Smart). Therefore, it might be hard to get together at times. BUT, I can say that I'll defintely make the time. I have come a long way in the past few months, but know I still have a ways to go. So let me know: mgharrell@netzero.net<p>PS: This also applies to anyone that may be entering the University of Florida in the next few months!

I have been having a problem with my email account so if anyone responds to this "Cry for a Training Partner" please just post to this topic. We can then make arrangements beyond this board and save some server space for TE!

Hey there,
My name is Ryan, I am 26, and a former Marine(air wing). The PJ reserve is what I am aiming for. I just recently made this decision so my training level is not near what it has to be, so speculation is around 1 to 1 1/2 years of prep-time. I just moved here in August of 2001 and have never had training partners but some outside motivation never hurts. Contact me if interested. Thank you.

There is a naval spec warfare training group led by a former seal on UF campus. my brother (no longer at UF) trained with them. THis is probably the most realistic training you can get. I believe the instructor's name was Sean and there is a webpage. -Garrett
