CS-V80-A, Course Information

PRIOR TO DEPARTING YOUR BASE:

Review the COURSE EQUIPMENT LIST.

At the start of academic training all students are required to provide an uptodate DD Form 2766/AF Form 1480A and a Medical/Psychological preclearance form (SF 600 overprint). Medical records are no longer required. The SF600 overprint can be downloaded from the Medical Clearance link at this site. Ensure you can endure austere training environments, extreme weather conditions, and carrying of pack weighing 60+ Lbs. You must have the proper security clearance. Realize that transportation on the base is very limited. The Survival School is a tenant unit and is somewhat removed from the main base. Unless you have access to your own transportation (i.e. rental car), you will be eating the majority of your meals in the Air Force Dining Facility. Realize that use of tobacco products is not authorized during the duty day. Have your personal affairs in order prior to arriving. This course is 17 days, straight through. No weekends or off days. Travel arrangements should be made with the knowledge that training concludes on DAY 17 at approximately 1700. Do not schedule your departure from Spokane sooner than 2000 on graduation day.
