Air Force Combat Dive Course (AFCDC)

PJ/CRO and CCT/STO

Course Description:

Reporting Instructions (Supplemental): 1. Travel: All students fly into Panama City Bay County, Florida airport. Upon arrival at Panama City / Bay County Airport, take a taxi to Naval Support Activity (NSA) and keep taxi receipts for later filing of your travel voucher. Report no earlier or later than one (1) day prior to class start date to Naval Support Activity (NSA), Panama City Florida. Upon arrival to NSA, check into the Sea Shore Inn, bldg 484, (Commercial 850-236-2500/4217/DSN is 436).

2. Arrival: All students will stay on-base in the Sea Shore Inn in pre-arranged rooms. No off-base billeting is authorized for this course. E-4 and below will have a roommate. Upon arrival NPS Airmen will proceed to the NDSTC Quarterdeck to have their orders stamped and check in with the OOD on the 3rd deck of the BEQ for linen issue. ALL students will immediately call the on call MTL at 850-596-2135 or 850-596-1996 UPON ARRIVAL TO THE NAVY BASE. Rental cars are NOT required for this course. Chow is available on base. Prepare for training the next day.

3. First Training Day: In pressed BDUs/head gear, all students will form up w/ USAF MTL outside the Navy Galley entrance at 0450 hours with the following paperwork/clothing/equipment in a backpack: orders, medical and dental records, proof of pressure test, travel itineraries, pen/paper, one gallon water bottle, USAF PT Gear (2x brown shirts, 2x blue or black shorts, 2x pairs socks, running shoes and towel. If needed: gray "Air Force" sweats, black watch cap, black gloves).

4. An Air Force MTL will meet and escort students to the chow hall to get a bag breakfast and proceed to Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC), bldg 438, where AFCDC is located. EAT SOMETHING SMALL THAT MORNING AND HYDRATE as the PT test is administered immediately after initial gear issue. Breakfast will follow the PT test. After lunch, you will change into blues for uniform inspection with ALL badges and ribbons.

Equipment Required:

Air Force Combat Dive Course (AFCDC) Packing List
The following items are required for all Air Force students and must be in serviceable condition. All students must arrive and maintain meeting Air Force uniform and grooming standards:

1 x Service Uniform Short Sleeve (open collar, proper rank, all medals, all ribbons)
4 x BDU's - (2 x Garrison, 2 x Field "Swim" with laundry markings) 1 x low quarters (PJ)
1 x Beret, 1x serviceable boots (CCT)
1 x Flight cap (PJ)
2 x BDU cap- 1 X Garrison, 1 X Field
3 x Belt with buckle (1 x Blues, 1 x Garrison BDU, 1 x Field "swim" BDU)
2 x Boots - (1 x Garrison, 1 x Field)
5 x Socks, (black) cushion sole (minimum)
6 x Brown T-shirt
1 x black gloves (Nov-Apr)
1 x Watch cap, black (Nov-Apr)
1 x Field jacket or GORTEX - (Nov-Apr)
Rain gear (Issued garments only)
2 x Running shoes - (1 x classroom, 1 x PT)
7 x Socks (White)
5 x Cotton underwear (White) wear under issued UDT shorts
1 x USAF (Gray) Sweats, top and bottom
2 x Towel
5 x Running shorts - Blue (PJ), Black (CCT)
1 x Personal Back Pack - Black or OD Green only
1 x Pen/pencil, notebook, high-lighter, index cards
1 x 1-gallon water container, any type
Gatorade (or other) electrolyte replacement mix
1 x I.D. tag set
2 x Military Issue Eyeglasses as required

Medical record with SF 88 or 2808 current w/in 1yrs -or- PHA done w/in period of a 2 year physical (call DSN 436-5260 for questions) Exhibit 8 current w/in 1 month of reporting
