Combat Control Static Line Jumpmaster Course

Qualifies officers and airmen as static line parachute jumpmasters in directed and computed airdrop release procedures. Includes training in jumpmaster duties and responsibilities, personnel inspections, plotting techniques, aircraft inspections, and actual jumpmaster directed personnel airdrops.

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites: Completion of Airborne Parachutist Course. Performed duties as a military parachutist on status for at least 1 year, made a minimum of 30 military static line jumps with at least 10 equipment jumps from C-130/C-141 aircraft, 5 of which must have been night jumps. Equipment must include 40-lb rucksack, weapon, and loadbearing equipment (LBE). Personnel must be able to pass the physical fitness entrance examination on the first day of class. Examination consists of physical training requirements listed in AFI 13-219, Special Tactics Operator Stan Eval Program, Physical Training Requirements. Examination consists of the following exercises: pull-ups or chin-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, 3 mile run and 1500 meter swim. Descriptions of correct performance of exercises are contained in the US Army Field Manual (FM) 21-20. Failure of the physical fitness test will result in elimination from training.

Students must bring ID card, AF Form 922, Individual Jump Record (showing required jumps), and medical records (with current AF Form 1042 showing flying class III physical). TDY to school students (Officer and Enlisted) must bring AFMAN 10-100, Airman's Manual, with them and carry it when they are in BDUs.

Uniform Requirements:

Students must bring BDUs, PT uniform, UDT shorts, LBE, helmet, goggles, and dog tags.
